Dharyll decided to get us all out of the house and go for a little excursion to Fortezza Da Basso (which, in hind sight, is by the train station). About an hour later we wind up in Piazza Della Liberta lost and a little tired, but it wound up being worth it to see the arch. It turns out that I had a map of Florence in my bag that I'd forgotten about, but by the time I hauled it out it was getting late and we'd promised Cynthia that we'd pick her up for dinner at Gusta Leo, one of the meal voucher restaurants so we had to head home. Eventually we'll make it to the Fort, but not that day.
This is Piazza Della Liberta.
Sunset.
Taya, Rebecca and Dharyll taking pictures of the arch in Liberta during our little adventure.
Our front door with some guy in front of it. He got mildly confused when he saw me taking a picture and then step around him to use my key and get in. A fascinating picture, I know.

One of the fountains in Piazza Della S.S. Annunziata just down the road from our house in front of the Galleria Dell Accademia where the original David is. Crazy Italians and their Creature from the Black Lagoon fountains...
Someone's garden that's gotten to a Little Shop of Horrors level.
And example of one of the little three-wheeled vans that scoot around town.
This is a crazy-violent sign. The blood really ads a special touch to it..
A cute car. Totally worth taking a picture of.
