Corbin's Keys

It's the little things that matter most in life... knitting, bunnies, chocolate...
and oh yeah, Corbin's keys floating in jello.

BUNNIES!

I'm bunny sitting for the next hour. Let me tell you
this
is
AMAZING!
I love bunnies...

Greener Propaganda

Someone gave this to me during the Olympia Art Walk... thought it was a great example of the EXTREME GREEEN!

Seattle Trip

We FINALLY had our first class field trip today! It was supposed to happen the first week of school but it was cancelled due to "deadly weather conditions" and the second one, scheduled for last week, was cancelled because there weren't enough vans to transport everyone. So everyone made it up to Seattle, we went to a couple art galleries in Pioneer Square and then shot over to Georgetown to a comic book store called Fantagraphics. Both were sweet but it was a long day and I wound up asleep in the back of the van on the way home.

A sweet SWEET bunny totem near Pioneer Square.
Crazy anonymous firemen statues fighting invisible fires.
James.
Steve and his new love interest.

Steve again.
James found these goats outside of a cafe in Georgetown next to Fantagraphics, they were tied up like pet doggies and were headbutting each other. Pretty cute and a great way to end a long day. You never know what you'll find in Seattle.

The Aging Process

I went home for my birthday this weekend. Here's a sample of the crazy parties I went to...

Twist, Punch, Pling! Open Can!

Oh, and I'm starting a new project. This one involves the little tabs on your soda cans... you know, the doodles you fiddle with after you've opened the can, the bit with the holes in it. Yes, that one. Good. Now, I need all the ones you'll give me. Anyone with little tabs can be a part of this experiment, I already have about twenty but I need ever so many more. If you're at home, at Notre Dame, at Evergreen (AND Georgia!), feel free to participate with your very own can-tab-donation. Thanks!
I'm excited!

Greener Cleaning

So I'm sitting on my bed, watching a movie (yes a movie, not homework) and in comes Matt. No, he is NOT dressing up for a costume party, no he is not going to some jousting club meeting or any such thing.
Matt is going to clean his room.
With the aide of my broom, some hockey pads and an Israeli gas mask, he is going to tackle floor space contained between the four walls and my floor (his ceiling).
This is serious business, there will be no pussyfooting around. May the force (and whatever other movies you're dressing up as) be with you...

Mad Science!

As if school weren't enough, I've got two experiments going on my desk. The one on the left is my first batch of Triops here at Evergreen. They're seven days old today and both have doubled in size daily. Right now they're almost two centimeters long, only two have made it this far and I hope they don't start to eat each other (they do that you know). I got them for my birthday last year and they're making great dorm pets.

The second experiment I've got going on is an avacado tree. I put the seed (thank you Freddy) in some water and it should either sprout or rot within a couple of weeks. I hope it sprouts... but right now I can't tell which it's doing. Either way it sort of looks like a dinosaur egg.
