Sign the Rabbit

I had my ASL Final Story presentation today. We had to give a three minute story in ASL in front of the class. I practiced yesterday, I practiced while I waited for my toast to cook, I pinned a copy up in the shower and practiced, I practiced at the stop lights and I practiced in the... well you get the picture. I practiced my fingers off. Here's to you, Monty, and you're now infamous status in my class since we learned the sign for "rabbit".

Story.

My sister J-e-s-s-i-e she work in C-l-a-r-k college book store.
Before month three she work in bookstore w-a-r-e-h-o-u-s-e she find rabbit.
She surprise! She not believe eyes!
She know I love rabbit.
Long-ago I little I have rabbit.
Rabbit long-ago young, after-awhile old, recently he die.
I sad, want rabbit new.
My sister remember my enjoy, love.
She want give-me rabbit.
She wait, wait, wait.
Her friend help her c-a-t-c-h rabbit in box.
She-call-mother, tell about rabbit.
She go-with rabbit home for surprise me.
I work all-day, exhausted.
I go home see rabbit in car room.
I surprise, happy happy happy.
My sister name rabbit M-o-n-t-y for rabbit in movie M-o-n-t-y P-y-t-h-o-n.
I go-with-him college.
Now he live my bed room.
We-two good-friends.

And we are! So it works out. Oh and if you ask me within the next couple of weeks I could probably sign it for you.... or at least most of it.
