These are pictures I've taken during the first two days in Italy.
Mmmmm, tastey Airplane food. I wonder what's inside the foil?
Oh, perfect, it's crazy lasagna. I'm glad I got a mug of make-believe coffee. And my tiny salad. It was like playing tea party, and after 7 hours on the plane it REALLY felt like make believe. This marks the time where I start to get all sick and make friends with the barf bag in the seat, and also the last thing I attempted to eat. Last night marked the first time I managed to completely ingest food... about 29 hours after the scone I ate before boarding. I was a hungry Hannah at that point.
An example of the "whatever the hell I want to do" attitude of drivers in Italy. If you can fit your car somewhere, you can park there. And there are no lanes or speed limits so driving is like a race... the driver races other cars, swerving around, vespas, bicyclists and whatever else has wheels and a motor.
Our tiny washing machine. It has all sorts of crazy make-believe symbols. There's a key, a duck and something unidentifiable. "Excuse me, I'd like to wash my clothes on duck".
And the key to my apartment. Italians take their security Veeerrryyy seriously.

Oh, and a shot of the Duomo. I had to take a picture because that's just what we do, we tourists.
