My New Little-Big Buddy

This is Bjern/Bjorn (sounds like b-yearn, however which way you spell it). He likes to wander over from next door for some scratches and pets.

Aaannnddd as you can see he's a bit on the rolly-polly side.

And this is what happens when my hand gets tired (and black) after giving him a good rub down, and he looses interest and goes in search of more lovin' somewhere else in the neighborhood.

Why did the Front Fall Off? Well... a Wave Hit it.

"This ship that was involved in the incident off of Western Australia this week..."

"Yeah, the one where the front fell off?"

"Yeah"

"Yeah, that's not very typical, I'd like to make that point."

A funny bit from Aussie comedians/satirists John Clarke and Bryan Dawe.

Vertigo

While I've been at home, making my things I've been watching movies on TV. This morning was Hitchcock's Vertigo. I was playing spore, half watching it and half dinking around when this scene came on all of a sudden. Trippy as all business!

Dee & Lala

Thanks to mummy I'll always have a soft spot for well-made paper goods and today my googlereader has been a well spring of goodies today and this is one of them. Dee & Lala is an online letter press shop . Soo good. About the same level of goodness and, dare I say, MORE goodness than eggpress (eggpress is local, so power to the homebodies there!). Dee & Lala is a bit more crisp and finished looking than eggpress, but I think the local flavor really is a huge part of eggpress' charm.
Anyway, I'm going to stop teasing you and post some of the pictures I've been drooling over.

Make sure you visit the site for more samples, share the love, perhaps purchase yourself a little somethin' something', etc.

Clothings

I found this cool online clothing shop through one of the etsy stores I enjoy browsing when I get the urge to test my will-power. They have a collection of blank garments that you can (in theory) purchase and then screen print like my etsy find does.

A few are even organic!
